Why two names
ACRIDIA is the company — the people, the licences, the lab, the export paperwork. JARADY (جرادي, "my locust") is the brand on the bag. We chose to brand the product separately so buyers and end-consumers across the Arab world recognise it instantly, while procurement teams, customs and certification bodies always deal with one stable legal entity: ACRIDIA SARL.
Every invoice, certificate of origin, halal certificate, lab report and shipping document is issued under ACRIDIA SARL. Every retail-facing pack, sample, and B2B catalogue carries the JARADY brand.
Locust is the only insect protein with unanimous halal consensus across the four Sunni schools. We don't sell what's contested.
